Dear Friends, Thirty-five years ago, a group of Morris County residents recognized the need for affordable housing in our community and established Morris Habitat for Humanity to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope. Inspired by our hardworking homeowners -- and powered by volunteers, donors and partners -- Morris Habitat has grown and flourished. Since our founding, we have helped build, repair or preserve homes in partnership with 661 families, and we regularly engage more than 13,000 volunteers a year. Dear Friends,   I’m reminded every day how blessed I am and why we do the work we do. Our homeowner partners are often those whose jobs take them out into the community, mostly front-line workers in retail, hospitals, grocery stores, doctors’ offices and delivery folks.
